Further, to my last post. Other Commissioners that got loco's named after
them were:

Harold W. Clapp  B60 later A60 when they added "Sir"

R. G. Wishart L1150

G. F. Brown C501 (The name "George Brown" appeared on the plates)

N. C. Harris didn't get a loco named after him but the "Blue" suburban train
of mid 1950's vintage were called "Harris's"

T. Tait had his name affixed to the old sliding door red trains that ran
from when Noah was a boy until the early 80's.

Of course in later years they named loco's after football players!
