Saturdays and Sundays:
Bayside trains (Northern and Caulfield Group) run in a anti-clockwise
direction,
Hillside trains (Burnley and Clifton Hill Group) run in a clockwise
direction.

It is interesting to note that had they not had this 50/50 direction
split on weekend the works on the Flinders Street Viaduct would have
been difficult.

Hillside Trains will be re-branded "Connex" as a directive from head
office in Paris.
