Evidently Qantas caters for "airfans" rather than passengers (based on
Barry's definition) as their timetables (domestic and international,
hard copy and internet) provide the type of information sought by
Roderick.  I suppose it depends on who the airline is run for (or by). 
Or is Countrylink run for the benefit of the Countrylink management who
subscribe to the "most efficient hospital is the one without patients"
school of management?
