About an extra 10 minutes.  This movement would also tie up the Single line
section Cronulla to Caringbah.  The shunt in question was not normally
timetabled.  This particular night, it had to shunt ahead into the section, then
come back through the loop into the goods siding.  The train is due to arrive at
19:18, and has to be clear of the main line by 19:36.  If everything was done by
the book, the following should happen:
Train arrives. (19:18)
Driver requests Guard applies handbrake.
Driver advises Guard he is leaving compartment.
Driver cuts out.
Driver leaves compartment and locks doors. (19:20)
Driver changes ends.
Driver arrives at new compartment and unlocks doors. (19:23)
Driver cuts in.
Driver advises Guard he has arrived at compartment.
Guard advises Driver she is leaving compartment. (19:25)
Guard checks train for drunks and sleepers.
Guard advises Driver she has returned to compartment. (19:29)
Driver requests Guard releases handbrake.
Train shunts ahead towards Woolooware.
Train stops at 6 car marker on main line. (19:31)
Driver requests Guard applies handbrake.
Driver advises Guard he is leaving compartment.
Driver cuts out.
Driver leaves compartment and locks doors. (19:33)
Driver changes ends.
Driver arrives at new compartment and unlocks doors. (19:37)
Driver cuts in.
Driver advises Guard he has arrived at compartment.
Driver requests Guard releases handbrake.
Train shunts into Loop. (19:41)

The 19:36 train was just delayed 5 minutes.
