Just an update on local happenings within the last few days

Last weekend the 6th and 7th of May total occupation of the G.V. line was in
force due to upgrading of the Shepparton Wyndham St crossing. Replace wooden
sleepers with concrete, first for G.V.line, and not gauge convertible. Train
No 8327 down  pass made an empty return working on Friday evening for an up
departure of around 22.30. Train no 9357 Saturdays down goods was the last
working before the track was severed.

Tuesday 9th May train no 8308 up pass declared total failure due to fuel
pump problems on N.461. Not long after arrival of the down goods N.470 made
a down light engine movement with arrival at Shepp @ 09.30. Then N 473
arrived at 11.15 on 8307 down pass. After clearance N 470 hauled failed N
461 and consist with departure @ 11.30 as up  recovery movement. T .400 was
local pilot normally a P is rostered.

As from today Wednesday 10th May extra grain movements have been rostered
noted passing at 17.15 as an up movement X 33 S 306 and S307 trailing 40
hoppers.
