Re: NR Freight on Main West last night



Hey fella's, I have no intention of shooting the
messenger and therefore I am not having "a go" at
either of you, BUT long trains just happen to be the
way to go for rail (NSW excepted), the old CR/ANR/AN
knew that, way before *anyone* else in Oz knew.!

Been to Port Augusta, Tarcoola, Alice Springs, lately.?

Whatever you think about the "Blue Mountains" the Yanks
conquered mountains three times as high with steam and
consists six times as long three times years ago.!

NSW it is our biggest state, .......jeez, nothing else
exists outside it.!!!
