I was surprised to know that one time in Sydney the trams route
kilometers was 293km, ours is 283km right now. How long would it take
to beat their record???that's see Dockland is about 2km , so is Box Hill
line, Knox City line extension is about 4 km....

There was a "small" fanfair when the extendsion of Dockland line opened
earlier, at the same time Yarra tram also introduced its new color
scheme. It was on TV and well documented in newspapers.
