The class 170 Turbostars are reasonably popular in the Midlands and
Scotland, or at least more popular than the class 15x Sprinter variants.
Don't know how they are for Anglia.

Scotrail has 3-car Turbostars running every 15 minutes between Goasgow
(Queen St?) and Edinburgh. Reports are that patronage is rising. Midland
Main Line has 2-car Turbostars running St. Pancras - Nottingham/Derby.

The 2-car units have a capacity of 29 first class and 97 standard class.
