In Sydney the Northern line where Warrawee lies runs through to the
Western Suburbs. A massive bottleneck would occur if Northern & Western
trains terminated at Central instead of running through on the same
line. Also, a good number of high tech, IT and blue chip companies base
themselves at North Sydney so a link between the Western Suburbs
(residents) and North Sydney (Work) would be essential. If you're gonna
run trains to North Sydney you might as well let them run up the rest of
the North Shore line.

Need to know basis - if they told station staff, they'd have to kill
them for knowing too much :)
