The K1 Garratt had just returned from the UK when I visited the Bush Mill
Railway - in 1993.
There was a private 15" gauge line at Delacombe (Ballarat) until a few years
ago. I believe it was moved to Speed in western Victoria but may not be set
up again. In fact I have heard it may be sold again. A section of the track
remains in the builders concrete driveway (simulating the normal method of
removing closed railways in Victoria, leaving only the sections of rail
where they cross roads).
