on the Ghan was OK when South Australia did not have
them, after all, the Commonwealth owned the track and
trains back then exclusively, lock stock and barrel.  
No State shares in the National hauler then.  
So the SA government could do SFA about them, BUT they
were getting ready to introduce them.

EVERYBODY has access to them today.

Stuff the poker machines, how about some dome cars.?
You can play pokies anywhere, but how about seeing this
great country of ours from something better than a
restricted passenger car window.!
