What I'm concerning is there was an article in "The Age" saying Qnatas
may be agaist any extension of the Speedrail network. Afterall, Qantas
is an airline, not rail operators like GSR or CountryLink. Qantas
probabily aren't as passioante to rail as GSR. And if they go ahead
with the extension, eventually will see lost of jobs in some of the
sectors within Qantas(pilots, engineers etc),that's why Qantas may not
be happy about any extension. An article in "Today's rail" illustrated
airlines aren't very professional with managing railways. Virgin rail
recieved lots of critisms(delays etc),so is Eurostar(Part of the BA)
where price is so high and ticket problems.
