I won't be holding my breath to see em on anything other than the east
coast.
The flight west is long and lean. It's not too hard for an airline to carry
a couple of
loss making one hour flights but to do a 7 hour Perth return with inadequate
bums in
seats can mean lots of lost dollars. Even if the seats are full they have to
be high value
fares. I reckon about 2004 before Virgin can take that kind of yield risk.
