Read threads in this Newsgroup, SA government will reopen Mt Gambier
line, the detail is still sketchy but FA already express interest to
run services.

Your right! SA maybe the most rail unfriendly state. SA State
government willing to spend more then 100 million$ on highway rather
then upgrade its railways.

The only thing I agree with SA transport department is their commitment
towards Darwin rail link and funding for Pichi Richi railway.
