Ahh, but the Bally Hooley Tourist line at Port Douglas does qualify. The
line from Ferndale Junction to Port Douglas was originally owned by the
Douglas Shire Council. This line was closed and pulled up by the Mossman
Central Mill Co. when it purchased the assets of the Douglas Shire Tramway
in 1959. The line was relaid from Ferndale Junction to Port Douglas after
the Bally Hooley Tourist Train was begun in the 1980's by the Mossman Mill
Co.
