A consultant (PPK) has carried out a study on the ecconomic viability of each
line, and the result of that is being considered. In the case of Cootamundra -
Tumut a detailed estimate on the cost of reopening has been prepaired. The
result of each will be taken back to steering committees in each centre, but
ultimatly it will be a Government decision to fund their reopening.

To John McCandles.
Yass Junction - Yass is on the list of possible reopenings.

To David Bromage.
Michalago - Cooma is not on the list. Queanbeyan - Hume is open now and there
is no plan to extend this (other than the existing ARHS operation)
