Looking at a map of the area, the line could easily be relocated on the
north side of the freeway and then cross the road on the causeway between
the twin towns on a bridge, then connecting back to the original alignment
to cross the existing Murray River bridge. This would eliminate the sharp
curve at Wodonga. The Wodonga station would be most accessible if it was
relocated to Wodonga West. The line to Bandiana is still in use, so the
current site of Wodonga station could still be used for loco depot, and the
level crossing would still remain in the main street of Wodonga.
