[Vic] K 183 visits underfloor lathe

Bit of a curio, Steamrail's K 183 went over the underfloor wheel lathe at
Newport yesterday to have its wheels reprofiled. This was the first K class
to ever visit the lathe and the second steam loco to have been over the
lathe. K 190 is due to visit in the next two weeks for similar treatment.
While neither of the locomotives had 'bad' profiles, it was decided to put
them in before the lathe is removed from service once Newport workshops
close
