Photos exist of passenger trains on wharves in Sydney.
Melbourne also had passenger trains to Princes Pier.
A photo exists of a Reso special train on Portland Pier (Vic).
Fantrips have run onto the wharf apron at Outer Harbor (Adelaide, SA).
Fantrips have run onto various piers in Victoria, but possibly not
special
trains serving passenger ships.
Victoria had railway-served wharves at Bairnsdale, Sale, Port Welshpool,
Geelong, Warrnambool, Echuca, Swan Hill & Mildura too.

I have travelled on a boat train from Christchurch (NZ) to Lyttleton.
