Re: Passenger Trains on Wharves

The Sorrento steam tram terminated on a terrace on the hill overlooking the
wharf.
The San Remo railway moved coal, and did not have passenger trains.
Stony Point wharf had rails, but not for passenger trains. The rails were for
a trolley transporting luggage and freight between the station and the boat (&
vv).
WA had lots of piers with rails for trolleys, but passenger trains could not
use them.

Freo station was adjacent to the wharf apron; cross by footbridge.
