Ah, the PTC open day Sunday October 18th 1992.  One of the better days
in the history of PT in Melbourne, everything from Signal Boxes to
stations to tram depots, workshops, Metrol, Centrol, bus depots,
everything with anything to do with the PTC was open for the General
Public.  

It was to become an annual event, and I think it was a great idea.


(If you want to know why it didn't become an annual event, ask Jeff
Kennett who won the following election and decided he didn't want an
open day like this anymore)
