The press release was fairly vague.  The train from Port Pirie was clearly *not*
the longest train in SA: very short compared with the many combined IP or Ghan
trains, or even a normal Overland for years.  If the intention was to mean solely
intrastate train, I doubt that it was a winner there either.
A standard Mt Gambier overnight train with two carriages and 20 or more wagons
would beat it easily.
I haven't even started to look at one-off charter specials.
