Ive been on a double IP consist Sydney bound that met a failed Ghan Adelaide
bound. The trains met in the middle of the section and the IP pushed the
Ghan back to the next loop where it was put away.

While not an 'offical' train, and the loco's were in the middle, it would be
hard to beat the size of a combined Ghan and double IP set for the largest
train.
