Re: Dumped NZ Steam Locomotives

I usually buy NZ Railfan; it was a recent article that prompted my question.
However the articles don't tell me where the dumps are, if anything can be
seen, or how to get there.
On previous trips I have tracked down the 3 K class engines (Dunedin &
Ashburton), 2 P class engines (Dunedin), 2 Wb engines (Paekikari or
whatever), and the next trip will take in the V at Auckland, all rescued
from these dumps, so you can see that I'm quite interested in this topic.

Now I'm planning another trip to NZ, and was considering if a stop at one of
these places was feasible.
Can anyone help with the details please?

Many thanks
Ed
