Geez, Full of intelligence this post is. Should I give you a 2 out of 10 
for the fact you could hit reply, type the above garbage and hit "Post"?

We all would like (with the exception of a minority few) to see a high 
speed rail link, but I doubt very much that it will happen within the next 
5 years, if it does. I'm really not holding my breath on the Canberra-
Sydney project either. Even with Darwin, I'm not going to hold my breath 
until _the first train has run the entire length of the line for revenue 
purposes_. Contracts keep being put back. Surely not a sign of someone who 
actually wants a railway.
