Use common sense and install CCTV. In NSW and SA at least, many trains are
already fitted with cameras, so installing a video screen in the guards
compartment will not take much, as far as money & resources go.
Melbourne OTOH, don't have many trains with cameras installed, but IIRC,
it, including CCTV is planned for the "next generation" trains to come by
2003, possibly even the refurbished Comeng (first of which scheduled to
arrive in Melbourne mid-late July [i.e. this month] - for Hillside)
