Re: Pendennis Castle



I think the Pibara Railway Historical Socety should concentrate on preserving the diesels that
are historically significant to the region, not steam locos from the UK. While the PRHS have
put a lot of work into the Pendennis Castle, it is time for it to go home to its rightful
owners, the railfans and enthusiasts in England. Of course, people like you just want to see
it rusting away in a remote area of Australia because you don't like Rio Tinto. If a company
in the UK had 3801 and they were about to give it to an Australian preservation group but a
union in the UK blocked it because they didn't like the company, would you be happy about it?
