It is likely that legislation to sell the Westrail freight division will be
passed this year. Who is the likely buyer? (A.S.R., Rail America or some
other group?) Perhaps an Eastern States enthusiast may have some
information on this. W.A. based enthusists are looking forward to a buyer
who will aggressively expand the freight business. Only train load traffic
seems to interest the current administration.
