Actaully just before the election in 1998, the then deputy PM Tim
Fisher announced to standarlise the Swan Hill line to deliver wheat and
rice from Northen Victoria and Bairanald(NSW)-Moulamein(NSW)-Echuca-
Bediego line, and Bairnsdale line by using the money recieve from
selling of V/line freight. But so far the money are gone else where.
