The track through platform 3 Wynyard is receiving new shorty composite
sleepers with Cologne Egg sleeper plates. The old were jack hammered out
Tuesday night and the new were cemented in last night. Only every 5th or 6th
sleeper is being attended to at this stage. I suppose they will eventually
replace the lot.

Seen departing Central stub end platforms was a 2 car V set consisting of a
driver and trailer only. Any explanations breakdown etc.

Any body noticed the installation of bi directional signalling between
Cleveland St Bridge and the down end of Redfern station alonside the up
main. An impressive signal bridge has been constructed at Redfern station.
Anybody know anything about this?
