Probably DKM 8144 / DKT 9190, which has been modified with vigilance controls
and a modified brake stand, also safer steps.  It has been at Central for a long
time to allow drivers and guards to evaluate the modifications.

Probably to allow a double length Indian Pacific to depart Sydney on the up line
and cross to the down line at Redfern.
