 And have been for years - it spent most of a year as a 0-6-0. While it
currenly has it's front poney truck back, the boiler hasnt been touched
for over 2 years as other projects keep getting priority.

 Hence the comment made..... One of the half striped 45/451/35 (Pick your
favourite number) class diesels could well and truely beat the C35 back
onto the rails!
(Heck some one could build a new one from scratch out of 2nd hand parts
in their back yard faster than Thirmere is progressing with the C35!)
