Rail link delivers 40pc rise to homes.

Suburbs along the nearly finished airport railway link have become Sydney's
latest real estate hot spot with unofficial estimates of price rises of up
to 40 per cent in the past two years.
Beaconsfield, Zetland, Rosebery. Mascot and Botany are all experiencing
strong buyer interest, throwing off their past unfancied status.
The schedule May opening of the $700 million New Southern Railway will bring
these suburbs within 10 minutes commuting time of the Sydney CBD.
Those preferring to drive also have the option of the nearby Eastern
Distributor, opened in December.

The above is taken from an article in today's Daily Telegraph. It goes on to
describe prices in various suburbs in more detail - probably not relevant to
these newsgroups.
