But this is only the builder. NSWGR locos operated in NSW for most of their
service lives. This means they are historically relevant to NSW and Australia.
The Pendennis Castle spent all of its commercial service life in the UK. It
was only exported out here to run tourist services. Apart from this it has
absolutely nothing to do with the development of Australian railways. The
Pendennis Castle is more relevant to UK preservation since it is one of their
most famous locos.
