Just a minor technical/grammatical question.  Doesn't the single apostrophe
(')
mean "minute" and the double apostrophe (") mean "second" ???  Just a query
as a 2 minute 27 second trip to Newcastle would be really, really fast.  Or
have
the Railways changed the meaning of those abbreviations ??
