Re: Dayrover Ticket Unavailable?



Tried to buy a Day Rover yesterday, they were pulled on 28/12 (and as stated
below not available until 4/1).  The new TVM at Blacktown also refused to
offer one at the 3rd screen despite the option still being available under
"other tickets" (2nd screen).

Saved me about $3 in fares across the day but the nuisance factor of
negotiating with barrier staff, buying extra tickets and praying for no
revenue staff on those little spur of the moment trip extensions wasn't worth
the saving.

Staff at Penrith could offer no reason for the withdrawal.  I wondered if the
ticketing slots (for the want of a better word) are needed for 1 (or more) of
the 3 Federation tickets?  Also, extra down time needed for programming?
