Re: Rail line reopening doubtful



You can see that here in the Hunter Valley, where the F3 freeway crosses
Richmond Vale line at Minmi. RTA had to install huge Armco underpasses, in
the event that the railway reopens as a museum line. There is also a
commitment dating back quite some years that the level crossing at Richmond
Main will be reinstated at RTA cost. This was removed when the road through
Pelaw Main and Kurri Kurri was the link from the northern end of the F3 to
Hexham.
