A proposal to reopen a part of the rail line between Armidale and Glen
Innes as a tourist attraction, has been thrown into renewed doubt. The New
England Railway Group says the Rail Access Corporation is reconsidering
permanently blocking the line at the Humpy Bridge north of Armidale to
allow a road to be realigned.
