NRC scrapping wagons.

This doesnt seem to have gotten any airtime on aus.rail so here goes.
Readers may be aware that NRC is currently cutting up for scrap
perfectly useable but surplus wagons rather than let them go to a
competitor.
Given that NRC is about to be sold , this action is nothing short of
vandalism which will reduce the sale price of the Company and make it
less attractive .
One wonders why the current shareholders of NRC are allowing this to
happen, or is it likely they dont know it is happening.
There is also the suggestion that this action will also befall some of
the surplus locomotives that NRC has.
This sort of action is economic lunacy , with the road freight
industry the only winners.
