Re: Wodonga gets boost in railway move deal



I had a wicked idea the other week that the federal government could fund
projects to better integrate and otherwise the rail system, by targeting
lines that contribute to interstate freight movements (e.g. Melbourne to
Brisbane, s.g. Pinaroo - Ouyen).

Anyone have suggestions on how this might be done so that the costs to the
government would be offset by reduced long-term transport/infrastructure
costs?
