It seems this is only on weekdays.  On Sats & Suns the 16 still runs down Acland
Street.

There is what I presume to be a misprint in the No16 timetable.  On Saturdays
and Sundays the terminus is listed as stop 138 (Luna Park) for Southbound trams,
but 140 for Northbound trams (Acland Street).  On Mon-Fri however, the terminus
is lsited as stop 138 both ways.

The note inside the timetable reads as follows:  Majority of trips extend from
St Kilda to Kew or Malvern Depot.  The majority of trips commencing at St Kilda
originate from Kew or Malvern Depot on weekdays only.
