For these platforms, a platform ticket is $1.60.

Green Square also has the problem that, for a normal person coming from the
West, it is generally as quick to walk from Redfern than it is to change
trains at Central.

Its major advantage is in the case of peak hour trips to the City; the bus
service is generally packed by the time it gets to near Green Square and is
slow as well.  In those circumstances the train is generally 20 minutes
faster.
