2 foot bridges(typo), they are appox. 5 meters tall IIRC. East Maitland
station itself is a good place as well, while you are there check out
the back platform of East Maitland.

Many years ago there was an excellent photo of Brisbane Limited in
Railway Digest taken from Hawkesby River station platform towards
Newcastle side. But that was taken in 1989, i'm not sure if there is
any obsticles added on the track since then.
