Upto 2 hours can be save between Adelaide and Sydney. The timetable is
kind of conservative. More can be save by avoiding Adelaide.

How about let Overland run all the way to Crystal Brook twice a week
and table to connect Indian Pacific, attaches several carriages through
from Melbourne and Adelaide to Perth to boost Overland's patrons.

And same loco haul back Sydney-Adelaide Carriages.
