[QLD] Freight Corp new locos

 Both "Motive Power" and "Railway Digest" said "Freight corp" would
order new narrow gauge locos for its coal haulage in Central
Queensland. The loco would be based on QR's 4000 class.
Freight Corp will need 2 coal trains running at anytime, both train
will have 2 locos at each end which made 8 locos are require at any
time. Freight Corp would likely to order 10 locos altogether.

My questions are:

1. Would these locos follow NSW numbering system??(Class 83??)
2. Who would build them?? Walker? and because the haulage starts in
late 2001 the contract for building these locos should be starting
soon.

3. Would Freight Corp need a separate maintenance depot for serving
these locos??
