Today, Saturday the 30.10.1999, green unit G 543 worked light loco
0499...0630 from Dynon to Hazelwood siding (Morwell) and returned with
9498 goods at about 1am from Hazelwood. The unit was fueled and seviced
at Dynon prior to running light loco to Geelong.
Tomorrow 31.10.1999, G 543 will team with X 36 and H 5 to work 9121
block grain to Ouyen departing North Geelong Yard at 1315. The H class
will be detached at Maryborough. On Monday 1.11.1999 G 543 and X 36 work
9133 grain train departing Ouyen at 0700 to Carwarp arriving at 0820 and
returning with 9126 grain departing Carwarp at 1500 for North Geelong
Yard.

During G 543's grain train stint, G 514 will fill in running the Apex
train for most of the week.

On Sunday the 31.10.1999, 9077 grain will work 1300 ex Bendigo to
Bridgewater arriving 1445 with loco Y 157. It returns 1515 ex
Bridgewater as train number 9078 to arrive at Bendigo at 1735.

On Monday the 1.11.1999, 9077 grain will work 1500 ex Bendigo to Kurting
and retun as 9078 departing Kurting at 1645 to Arrive Bendigo at 1810
with loco Y 157.

Monday's 9137 general goods from North Geelong (1415 dep) to Cowangie
will have locos G 527-X 46-Y 169, with the Y class being worked to
Ballarat to form the yard pilot change-over. 9138 arrival at North
Geelong on Tuesday 2.11.1999 will work Y 115 to Geelong for reps. Combo
will be X 53-X 54-Y 115.

Sale log trains should start running at this stage on Wednesday
3.11.1999. Times are unknown at this stage.....looks like about a 2 or 3
am ex Tottenham yard, with the crews running to Sale, resting then
returning later that night....My guess is about 1730-1800 out of Sale on
the return journey, with a shunt at Morwell and Warragul enroute. RTL
loco will work log wagons between Sale and Hillside.

Sunday 31.10.1999 there is a working at 0530 from West Tower to Geelong
arriving at 0720 as train number 9395. I think its a grain train that
stables in the Arrivals overnight and will be hauled by X 47-X 53-X 49.
Also working ex Geelong on Sunday is train number 9391. 1850 block grain
train to Oaklands with two green locos X 47-X 49. It returns ex Oaklands
at 1530 on Monday 01.11.1999 to North Geelong Yard.

Then there is the RTM workings around Melbourne starting on Monday
morning, however times are very hard to come by!!! There is no circular
for the trip so far....except for a VLP rough guide of times at Spencer
Street (useless)
*sob* can anyone tell me what happened to the 43?? I was so much looking
forward to a little play on her to Tatyoon on Monday night *sob* Guess
I'll have to make do with a 442, but will still *sob* for a few days!!!
