We wondered if we'd bump into you.

Neither.

Paul and Lindsay led us up to the S curve directly: there they
transferred to my Discovery and we went down the steep track to the
alignment, crossed over and parked on the access track side. There
were lots of 2WD cars, including the Darwin candidate who'd come in
from the top... so someone else opened the gate. Once the Rs left
Dombarton, we had to take our escorts back to their car, so we went
down the hill and up the access track to the top of the hill where the
sealed road was.
