you nearly got to meet me too! I was planning on going to the s-curve as well, but the walk in the rain put me off and I went to the first bridge instead. I didn't bother going to Robertson either because of the weather, I just went home again to watch the video (I live about 2 minutes from where you were at Farmborough Heights).
Anyone who goes to Dombarton regularly knows about the leeches. When I was last there about a month ago I found a new gate had been installed at the second cattle grid and was locked with a railways lock, was it locked or did someone open it for you?
