Intentions might have changed by now, but when I was talking to some Clyde
people at Port Lincoln in September, they were quite sure that ASR were
simply going to take over Whyalla operations using the same locos (Clyde
were expected to pick up the maintenance sub-contract). Rumours at the time
of NJs moving to Whyalla were apparently just that - rumours.
