What memories this account revived!
A pleasant Sunday afternoon outing for me in the 1967-early 1969 period
was out on #51, returning on #24. The most surprising carriage on #51
was a HCX ( and the First class compartment was labelled " Second")
replacing the rear HR. For once I rode in the rear car ! Loco was
3811.
